Rest in peace, Ann Cancilla

200 x 200
Dear Servites,

It is with a heavy heart that I am asking for prayers for the repose of the soul of my mom, Ann Cancilla, who passed away on Thursday, March 26 from congestive heart failure at the age of 88. I would also like to thank all who have been praying for her over the past several weeks since she started on hospice. Your prayers helped sustain us during her transition.

Mom practiced her faith humbly and quietly and was a compassionate presence to many, especially during their time of grieving. She never missed a funeral so it is very sad that we will not be able to hold the traditional services she deserves at this time. A small, private liturgy and burial is all that is allowed until our shelter-in-place restrictions are lifted. A Memorial Mass and Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.

May the Lord grant her eternal rest and his perpetual light shine upon her. May Our Mother of Sorrows intercede on behalf of my family and all those who mourn her passing, bringing comfort and strength during this difficult time.

God bless,
Debbie Nunes, OSSM
